Well Known
What is
It’s all well and good to say that your child will be well known here at Medowie Christian School. But what does that mean, in practice? Excellent question! We asked our principal Dan Weeks what this means to him.

“For us, being ‘well known’ means that every child is embraced for who they are. It’s about getting to know their strengths, their struggles, and their dreams. We take the time to listen, to connect, and to walk alongside them as they grow, both academically and personally. We want every student to feel like they’re not just known but that they matter deeply. Our goal is that every child leaves MCS not only well taught but knowing that they are deeply loved and understood. When students know they’re truly cared for, they’re able to reach their full potential—and that’s what we’re all about.”

At Medowie Christian School, being "well known" is more than just a phrase—it’s a commitment. We believe that each student is unique, and it’s our mission to understand their individual strengths, challenges, and passions. For us, "well known" means truly seeing and valuing every child, so they can thrive in a supportive and nurturing environment.
This isn’t just talk. It’s reflected in the way our teachers build strong, personal relationships with every student, getting to know their interests, learning styles, and aspirations. Our classrooms are designed to foster connection, where students aren’t just numbers—they’re individuals with unique gifts that we’re dedicated to nurturing.

At MCS, being "well known" means your child isn’t just part of a crowd—they’re part of a community where teachers, staff, and peers understand and support them. Whether it's through one-on-one conversations, academic guidance, or a warm greeting every morning, we make sure your child feels seen, heard, and appreciated every day.
